The third leg of our Victorian loop took us to the mineral spa county of Daylesford and involved attending a local community Agricultural Show – a great experience!
The Great Ocean Road is often listed in the top 10 of the world’s great ocean drives – and for good reason. It has fabulous views, interesting towns to visit, fantastic natural attractions and wonderful countryside to drive through.
We decided to expand the “Around the Bay” loop a bit to take in two of what are recognised as Australia’s, and indeed the world’s, great drives – the Black Spur and Great Ocean Road drives in Victoria.
Sherbrooke Forest, which is within an hours drive of downtown Melbourne, is part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. The most amazing feature of the walk – the fabulous tall Mountain Ash trees.
